Reclaiming Honest Communication After High-Control Environments: A Framework for Religious Trauma and Relational Abuse

from $25.00
Limit 1 per order

Friday, November 20, 2026 · 12:00–2:00 PM ET · Live on Zoom

Many clients raised in or shaped by high-control environments, including high-control religious communities and coercive or emotionally abusive relationships, learned early that honesty wasn't safe. As adults, they often struggle to identify what they feel, trust that their needs are legitimate, or speak up without fear, and "just tell them how you feel" leaves them more stuck.

This live workshop introduces a five-step framework (Notice, Name, Need, Check Capacity, Say It) with a practical in-session tool for each step. You'll leave with interventions you can use with clients right away.

For counselors and other licensed and pre-licensed mental health professionals. The Zoom link is emailed after registration. Please review our Workshop Policies before registering.
